Limited Edition all started with Katia Dewitte’s idea to add a twist to existing rugs by decorating their edges with hand-sewn strips. Crowned with success, the company quickly expanded its expertise to include weaving know-how and tufting. Strong with more than 25 years of experience, Limited Edition’s craftsmen manufacture artisanal rugs of impeccable quality. Observation and experimentation over the years have enriched their creative process, technical skills, and competencies. The knowledge gained through working with a variety of materials grounds the way they approach the weave or tuft structure, the use of color and fiber – each essential pillars into the creation of a rug.
Limited Edition possesses high-performance machinery in woven textiles and tufting integrated over the 400.000 ft² company’s surface area. The weaving mill and tufting mill have been joined by a dyeing mill and recently a spinning mill, both based in Belgium as well, thereby granting the complete control over its production processes and assuring flexibility.
